USUÁRIOS DO PROGRAMA DST/AIDS/HIV E HEPATITES VIRAIS: UM ESTUDO PSICOSSOCIAL REALIZADO COM PESSOAS VIVENDO COM HIV/AIDS

Resumo

Este trabalho abordou questões relacionadas às pessoas que vivem com HIV/AIDS; sabe-se que devido a sua história e a rápida disseminação, estigmas e preconceito que envolvem a doença. Neste estudo apresentase uma pesquisa sobre a patogenia, estágios e tratamentos por quais as pessoas que vivem com HIV/AIDS passam após obter o diagnóstico, bem como questões de relevância psicossociais como as relações sociais, familiares e de trabalho. A metodologia utilizada para a realização desta pesquisa se deu por meio de um estudo bibliográfico e de campo através de entrevista estruturada com perguntas abertas e fechadas. Entrevista esta realizada com cinco pessoas que vivem com HIV/AIDS, atendidos e monitorados pela Vigilância Epidemiológica de Caçador/SC. A utilização de gráficos e tabelas contribuiu para melhor compilação dos dados obtidos e a análise qualitativa favoreceu o aprofundamento das reflexões, o que permitiu concluir que a nova condição sorológica dessas pessoas influenciou significativamente em suas vidas atuais - elas têm consciência dos preconceitos e em sua maioria escondem o seu diagnóstico por receio de exclusão e de julgamentos.

ABSTRACT

This work addressed issues related to people living with HIV/AIDS, it is known that due to its history and the rapid spread stigma and prejudice surrounding the disease. This study presents a research on the pathogenesis, stages and treatments for people living with HIV/ AIDS experience after obtaining the diagnosis, as well as psychosocial relevance issues as social relations, family, and work. The methodology used to conduct this survey took place by means of a bibliographic and field study through structured interview with open and closed questions. This interview held with five people living with HIV/AIDS, assisted and monitored by the epidemiological surveillance of Hunter /SC. The use of charts and tables to build better data corroborated the qualitative analysis and favored the deepening of reflections, which allowed to conclude that the new condition of these people significantly influenced serological in their current lives - they are aware of the prejudices and mostly hide their diagnosis for fear of exclusion and judgments.
