A EXTENSÃO NA UNIARP: UMA FUNÇÃO DIALÓGICA

Abstract

Resumo: O presente artigo tem como objeto apresentar uma concepção de Extensão, tendo como matriz a sua função dialógica com a sociedade. Sob esse aspecto, discorre sobre o papel da extensão, como uma das três funções básicas da universidade, destacando como ela se organiza, quais políticas que a fundamentam e como se realiza. Trata da evolução do conceito de universidade e de como este deve articular o ensino, a pesquisa e a extensão de forma equânime, fortalecendo sua dimensão institucional e tendo suas bases na produção e difusão do conhecimento novo, estendendo-o para a sociedade, para que esta possa ter acesso aos bens e avanços da ciência e tecnologia.

Abstract: This article, The extension at Uniarp: a dialogical function, aims to present a conception of Extension, having as matrix its dialogical function with society. In this regard, discusses the role of extension as one of the three basic functions of the university, highlighting how it is organized, which policies underlie it and how it happens. It deals with the evolution of the concept of university and how it should articulate teaching, research and the extension equally, strengthening its institutional dimension and having its bases in the production and dissemination of new knowledge, extending it to society, so it can have access to goods and advances in science and technology.
