ABSTRACT: Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic disease that affects thousands of people in the world and in Brazil, and its growth is on the rise. There is a high prevalence of users in primary health care diagnosed with this disease. In this context, the objective of this work was to provide training for health agents on the correct management of insulin therapy in the UBS Morada do Sol and Caic. To this end, an extension and bibliographic review was carried out in the online platforms: Virtual Health Library (VHL), Google Scholar, Scielo, CAPES journals from 2010 to 2021 in Portuguese. It was evidenced that there is a vulnerability of Health Agents and users related to information regarding the correct use of insulin. Therefore, these agents were trained to help users with the proper use of insulin, promoting hyperglycemic control and improving the users' quality of life.
