INSTRUMENTOS DE AVALIAÇÃO NEUROPSICOLÓGICA EM CRIANÇAS COM DOR CRÔNICA: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA DE LITERATURA

Resumo

A dor crônica, definida como uma dor persistente ou recorrente que dura mais de três meses, geralmente está associada a um conjunto de alterações clínicas neurofuncionais e de funcionamento social. Em crianças contribuem para a perda de qualidade sociocognitiva e da manifestação de sintomas humorais e afetivos, afetando negativamente a aprendizagem e o desempenho acadêmico. O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar os instrumentos psicométricos utilizados em avaliação neuropsicológica da dor crônica em crianças. Foi realizada uma revisão sistemática da literatura nas bases de dados Web of Science, PsycNet, Pubmed, Scopus e Medline. Dos 201 documentos identificados, 15 foram selecionados para compor o corpus de pesquisa. Os resultados apontam que os principais aspectos investigados na avaliação neuropsicológica em crianças com dor crônica são: percepção da dor, funções executivas; inteligência e funcionamento cognitivo, estresse, ansiedade, depressão, funcionamento físico e deficiências, respostas emocionais, comportamento dos pais e qualidade de vida. Verificou-se que a avaliação da percepção da intensidade e da frequência da dor, assim como o rastreio de possíveis prejuízos nas habilidades sociocognitivas e de sintomas afetivo-humorais, são recorrentes nas avaliações neuropsicológicas
