REPORTING EXTENSIONIST EXPERIENCES THROUGH PAEC: SOCIO-EDUCATIONAL PRACTICES AND AWARENESS RAISING

Abstract

The report of extensionist experiences lived through the Support Program for Extension and Culture of UNIARP is a practice developed since the first semester of 2002 through extension projects proposed by academics and extensionist professors of undergraduate courses with a view to promoting the indissibility of teaching, research and extension based on network dialogues. To this end, the extension projects aim, in their socio-educational activities and actions, to provide experiences to academics in the socio-environmental, socio-economic and socio-cultural scope in a perspective of positively impacting their experiences with the community through experiences, experiences and knowledge aimed at new practices and social innovation. In view of initiatives like this, it is expected to obtain possible results or new knowledge about their future training and, then, the prospect of positively impacting improvements for the community. However, the report presents the initiatives developed by the highlighted projects of the PAEC in the period of 2021 and 2022, in the thematic axes of extension, mainly of citizenship, health and education, demonstrating an improvement in the integration of academics with the target public, making it possible to awaken knowledge about the importance of extensionist practices in the human and ethical formation of professionals.
