Peer Review Process

Vision Journal adopts the double-blind evaluation system (BlindReview). Neither the authors nor the reviewers will have their names disclosed during the review. Each text is sent to two evaluators who issue an opinion expressing full acceptance, corrections or rejection of the text.
In case of divergence regarding the evaluation, the text is sent to a third evaluator for a tiebreaker.
Texts that received revision and correction recommendations, after sending a revised version by the authors, undergo a new round of evaluation.
The average assessment period is 30 to 60 days, depending on the availability of assessors, considering that they act on a voluntary basis. A period of 15 days is given for an evaluator to express his availability for evaluation and another 15 days for forwarding the opinion.
Researchers who have at least a master's degree can register as evaluators of Revista Visão. Reviewers belonging to the publishing institution will not be accepted. Its approval is subject to the editorial board.
Evaluators receive a technical work statement to be included in their professional CVs.
The updated name of the reviewers who contribute to the journal is published in the dossier of each issue.
