A IMIGRAÇÃO PORTUGUESA NA CIDADE DE PELOTAS, RS, BRASIL: RELAÇÕES NA HISTÓRIA DA EDUCAÇÃO NO “CAMPO JURÍDICO”

Este trabalho tem por objetivos conhecer e analisar o papel da imigração portuguesa e a educação como herança constituindo solo fértil para sedimentarem instituições escolares, em especial no ensino jurídico. Quanto à trajetória metodológica realizada nessa investigação, bem como a escolha teórica que sustenta na análise documentos, objetos e pistas que permitiram chegar ao que hoje é a proposta deste trabalho, quanto à questão bibliográfica no que tange a obra do autor Pierre Bourdieu dedicado mais especificamente sobre questões que envolvem a Educação. Este trabalho resulta da investigação da história de duas instituições jurídicas, cabendo destacar que ambas as instituições são representativas de uma cultura jurídica, uma em Coimbra, PT, outra em Pelotas, BR. Ambas as instituições de ensino superior de relevante significado no contexto de formação de bacharéis em Direito, que fizeram da educação herança cultural intimamente relacionada com a imigração portuguesa. Esta pesquisa se propõe a ir além e aprofundar o estudo sobre o tema, concluindo que a imigração portuguesa teve papel fundamental nas bases sociais e econômicas que deram origem a várias instituições escolares, tomando a metrópole lusitana como modelo, em especial no campo jurídico.

The Portuguese immigration in the city of Pelotas, RS, Brazil: relationships in the history of education according to the "legal field”
ABSTRACTThe objective of this study is to study and analyze the role of Portuguese immigration and education as inheritance, providing fertile soil for sedimentary schools, especially in legal education. As for the methodological trajectory carried out in this research, as well as the theoretical choice that supports the analysis of documents, objects and clues that allowed us to arrive at what is today the proposal of this work, regarding the bibliographical question the work of the author Pierre Bourdieu dedicated more specifically on issues involving education. This work results from the investigation of the history of two legal institutions, and it should be noted that both institutions are representative of a legal culture, one in Coimbra, PT, another in Pelotas, BR. Both institutions of higher education are significant in the context of training law graduates, which made education cultural heritage closely related to Portuguese immigration. This research proposes to go further and deepen the study on the subject, concluding that Portuguese immigration played a fundamental role in the social and economic bases that gave rise to several school institutions, taking the Portuguese metropolis as a model, especially in the legal field.
