MANUAL PRÁTICO DE ORIENTAÇÕES DE ALTA COM ENFOQUE NUTRICIONAL E DIETOTERÁPICO

Resumo

Inúmeros pacientes deixam o hospital em estado nutricional precário e observa-se baixo cuidado nutricional pós-alta. Com isto, o objetivo do estudo foi elaborar orientações para os cuidadores e pacientes na alta hospitalar durante atividade extensionista do curso de graduação em nutrição. O trabalho foi realizado a partir de revisões de literaturas nas bases de dados e a linguagem para a descrição do conteúdo foi adaptada, sem termos técnicos e de fácil entendimento para a população leiga. As patologias escolhidas foram acidente vascular cerebral, hipertensão, câncer, diverticulite, anemia, deficiência vitamina K, gota, insuficiência renal, obesidade, pós-operatório em gastrectomia, queimaduras de 1, 2 e 3º grau, refluxo gastroesofágico e úlcera péptica. Intervenções práticas são necessárias para melhorar o estado nutricional do paciente antes, durante e principalmente após a alta hospitalar. O tratamento pós-alta oferece uma enorme oportunidade para otimizar a qualidade de vida do paciente, melhorando seu desfecho clínico nutricional. Esse manual fornece novos insights sobre cuidados nutricionais e dietoterápicos pós-alta.
