MANUAL PRÁCTICO DE PAUTAS DE ALTA CON ENFOQUE NUTRICIONAL Y DIETTERAPIA

Resumen

Numerosos pacientes salen del hospital en precario estado nutricional y se observa una mala atención nutricional tras el alta. Por lo tanto, el objetivo del estudio fue desarrollar guías para cuidadores y pacientes al momento del alta hospitalaria durante las actividades de extensión del curso de pregrado en nutrición. El trabajo se realizó con base en revisiones bibliográficas en las bases de datos y se adaptó el lenguaje para describir el contenido, sin tecnicismos y de fácil comprensión para la población lega. Las patologías elegidas fueron ictus, hipertensión, cáncer, diverticulitis, anemia, deficiencia de vitamina K, gota, insuficiencia renal, obesidad, postoperatorio de gastrectomía, quemaduras de 1.º, 2.º y 3.º grado, reflujo gastroesofágico y úlcera péptica. Son necesarias intervenciones prácticas para mejorar el estado nutricional del paciente antes, durante y especialmente después del alta hospitalaria. El tratamiento post-alta ofrece una gran oportunidad para optimizar la calidad de vida del paciente, mejorando su resultado clínico nutricional. Este manual proporciona nuevos conocimientos sobre la atención nutricional y dietética posterior al alta.
