Abstract

This experience report aimed to demonstrate the importance of the extension project Higher Education Program for Regional Development (PROESDE) offered by the Santa Catarina State Department of Education through the Santa Catarina University Scholarship Program with the support of the University Center of Brusque (UNIFEBE). We carried out research with a qualitative approach, of a basic nature, with an exploratory objective through documentary research based on an experience report. The data is derived from the researcher's personal report and archive. The analysis of the reports and materials available showed the history of the beginning of PROESDE at UNIFEBE, conceptualizations of PROESDE and benefits that this undergraduate extension project offers to UNIFEBE students.
